Motherboard advise - M4A79XTD EVO

hi guys,

Quick one really, I managed to get the M4A79XTD EVO at a great price a while ago on today only. Due to house selling etc, its still boxed (not even unwrapped). I plan to use it in a gaming system build (965 probably).
Any thoughts on flogging it now and getting a 890X chipset board, or just keep it? Not really fussed about SATA6, USB3 could be nice but easily solved with an addon card..

Keep it then if your not fussed about them, it supports 6core cpus and everything with a bios update.

Why would you want the 890X board?

I've used the M4A79XTD Evo and it was great, I also had a DFI 790FX board and to be the Asus seemed better to be honest, RAM was more stable and the SSD seemed slightly faster on the Asus board too.

Are there any reasons whey you'd want to go for the 890X chipset though? I'm sure the money could be spent elsewhere for a more noticeable increase but you could always search around on google and see 790X vs 890X.

No reason really, I'll do a search for comparisons, good idea. I dont upgrade often and want to push it out aslong as possible
