    Hawker's Upgrade...finally finished!!

    Hey guys,

I've finally got all the pieces for my upgrade into a Silverstone FT02B, and ive been very impressed with the case and just wanted to share some pics with you .

    Spec:

    Silverstone FT02B
    Corsair HX850 PSU
    Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5
    Intel i7 920 D0 stepping @4Ghz
    6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 @1528mhz 8-8-8-24
    Corsair H50-1 w/Apache blacks push-pull
    Sapphire 5870@900/1300
    Creative X-fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro
    Asus a/b/g Wifi card
    Samsung DVD-RW
    LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray/HDDVD ROM DVD-RW
Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus Black Fan Controller
    Samsung 64GB PB22-J SSD
    WD 2TB WD20EARS HDD
    Samsung 500GB HDD

    Front Shot

No pics of the back, total mess, too many cables to tidy them well but the side closed first time, so its all good . The Silverstone 180mm fans are set to low and with the apaches running flat out the case is almost inaudible under the desk, cooling is great too CPU Idle 38-43oC Load 68-71oC, GPU Idle 37oC Load 79oC.

Well let me know what you think guys

Nice, i have been looking at this case but it doesnt offer much in the way of room for a watercooling system which i would like to do in the future so i have been somewhat put off.

Yeah its not a good watercooling case, very nice for air. though if I remember reading the manual long ago you can fit a 240mm rad in the bottom over the fans, its not exactly ideal though.

Not 100% sure, its been a very segmented and staged upgrade, a fair few of the bits are either from the old PC or second hand, i know ive not paid more than £1200 for it. Infact once I take into account the parts sold that this has replaced, upgrade cost will be much lower, probably £600-750.

Always interesting to see someone's build! Though the pictures make it look more cramped than I suppose it actually is
