    And there's only one review sample going round the UK from what I can gather.

    Damn you!
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    From someone elses experience on [H]'s forums, he was getting about 48c at full load, I forget what that was on, either a 2.3 Athlon or a 3.2 P4 (I forget)

    Btw, cky2k, what happened with your order from OcUK that never arrived?

    Well from the main source of Zalman stuff in the UK there is only one sample, dunno if that's where David got his from though - but I couldn't get it!

    i know its good enough for cpu -> vga what about cooling that chipset too?!

    I wont go into details about why its crap, but it basicly needs a fan for any resonably decent system (above 60w total load at a guess, below that youd get bad temps anyway).
    It would also corrode like hell, so you cant realy upgrade it (there blocks are gold plated for a reson), anti corrosive additives would help a bit but really they just slow it down.

    I dont think it will be a good product - infact I think a SLK800 + 20-40cfm fan (air cooling) would probably beat it for heat load capacity and temps. Also note that the main review sites testing this are not ones that have tested much watercooling equipment (and there testing will most likely not be upto standard - for example sticking the rad next to open window and claiming those temps are what one should expect.... [didnt happen with this product though]), so it will probably get a good review anyway, becuase thats the sort of person its aimed at. So to sum up, think of it like a DELL compared to buyin parts seperatly (which is a LOT easyer than acctually using a kit like this).

    There is a globalwin silent stream w/c kit that looks ideal for shuttles, becuase its very compact. I dont know how well it performs and doubt its very good either.
    The flow indicator also seems to be poor and broke in one of the reviews.

    You don't seem to have much confidence in kits do you? I have a Thermaltake Aquarius III, my temps are 45c full load (Athlon XP2100, 2300MHz, 1.8v), not to mention it's silent. I'd say that performs just as well (if not better) than my previous SLK900 with a very noisy fan on it. In fact, it performs better than a friends more 'professional' setup.

    I dont know i used to have that view as a chemist, but have been "converted" by pictures from wc-ers using anodised alu parts and good anticorrosion agents. Then again, ive also seen the odd picture to say otherwise and id like to know what exactly goes into anticorrosion stuff tbh.
