    A-Bit KD7 Power Connectors

    Hi

    I've had this board a while (A-Bit KD7-S) and its always been fine, I have howver wondered what the small four pin power connector is. I've always plugged it in anyway, even though I didn't know what it was. I always thought it was a Pentium thing even though its an AMD board. However on a recent upgrade (new PSU) i forgot to plug it in, and everything SEEMED to work fine. Can anyone tell me what this plug does and if I need it plugged in?

    Thanks
    Falcon

    Just extra 12V wires into the board. It distributes to current over more wires, which becomes necessary as the things draw more power.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I would. I had a faulty connection in the 4 pin plug you mention on my board and it kept shutting down.
