    J & W Minix785G-SP128M now available from Scan

It is not too bad a price TBH:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/J-and...CI-E-8Ch-Audio

There is also the Sapphire mini ITX 785G motherboard but it seems to be a bit hard to get hold off.

It would be nice if Scan could also stock the Sapphire motherboard too!

Thanks CAT, like my overdraft wasn't already under enough pressure

One of these plus an Athlon x2 250u off ebay would make a great low power HTPC...

On the off-chance it's still an issue, the previous iteration of this board, the 780G, doesn't work with Corsair RAM.

As I discovered to my cost.

Well these boards use SO-DIMM memory, so I doubt that would be an issue on this board.

    Re: J & W Minix785G-SP128M now available from Scan

    Yeah, it's a good thing Corsair don't make ddr2 so-dimms

My real beef is the lack of socket S1 mini-itx boards. I've got a Turion x2 and 2x512MB DDR2 sodimms sitting in my bits box just waiting for a suitable motherboard, and can you get one? Can you my rear end...
