    A64 cooling

Hi, I really like to push my A64 3000+ that little bit further with o/cing, but I also really care about noise.

My rigs in my room, and so when I leave a torrent going over-night, I don't want the thing keeping me awake. I've replace all my other 80mm fans with 120mm fans and adaptors, but the question is, can I go quieter (and cooler preferably) with another heatsink/fan combination?

I don't want to shell out TOO much. I've heard the Zalman is great, the huge ass thing, but it's really heavy and needs a backing plate or something? I've also heard the Thermalright slk948u is great as well, but that doesn't come with a fan does it, so if you recommend that, what fan would you recommend I get also?

So, what fan/heatsink combo would you recommend, for noise and/or cooling? Thanks so much you guys, you're a great help.

i was under the impression that was for intels and socket a only correct me if im worng

If it works- then a quiet yet powerful fan would be a papst or a panaflow... panaflow being the cheapest available from www.tekheads.co.uk
