I'd recommend the G500 as I have the G5, I bought a sidewinder x5 and I didn't like the way it felt compared to the G5

Mx518 - very popular and cheap.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

Bought this about a month ago from Play:

    Gigabyte GM-M6880

Dont let the price throw you, it's a fantastic mouse. Really recommend it.

+1 for that mouse i got it when it was about £9 and it is really good, no software or anything only plug and play but i guess that would be expecting too much, it's cheap cheerful

Thanks for that advice. I actually went to website and looked at the troubleshooting advice. AFter a bit of fiddling around I found that the signal had been lost from the receiver. After downloading the connection utility it was fixed!
    Saved me £30!

Logitech service is really excellent - I just got my dead MX Revolution replaced by a new Performance MX absolutely FoC.
