Shouldn't that be a 5970 and a 5870? Or are you going for different GPUs?
Yeah, isn't a 5970 two 5870s but clocked down to 5850 speeds?
apprently doesnt matter to much if its a 5870 or 5850. My question is more on the PSU power needed
:-)
Uhhmm, what else is in the system?
Watercooling loop
1 hard drive
Overclocked CPU
A bit more detailed would come in handy you know - an overclocked Sempron 140 draws a lot less power than an overclocked i7 920.... :p
Makes more sense to use a 5850 since the 5970 is clocked to 5850 speeds - 5870 is waste of money.
Anyway, as for your question, yeah it should fine. I'm going to post that graphic again... :p

It would be sufficient for two 480s in SLI with an i7 @ 4GHz. You're not likely to get close to that kind of power consumption.
I've found Enermax's PSU Calculator to be quite useful
