    Intel Q2WV

    Could someone suggest a motherboard and a bios to go with this engineering sample cpu - Q2WV

    preferably not too expensive motherboards

    just before be start i want to make it clear that unless you are an employee of a inter verified system integrator and have signed an intel NDA you should not even have this processor and it is still technically intel's property

    right onto the recommendations. that chip is as close as i can tell a x5650 and should work in any lga1366 board that supports Six core processors. i would recommend an asus board with a 6 core bois and they have the highest success rate with ES processors

    would this board work?
    it says it nativly supports 6 core cpu on gigabytes website

    iv been doin a little research and i think all i need is a mobo that can support gulftown cpu, would this be correct?

    that is correct but it may not ba able to full identify your cpu. this should not be a problem though
