    Advice for PC Desk

I'm buying a new PC desk and I was originally going to get something from Harveys. But now I'm going for a reputable local company to do a custom job.

What advice/features should I tell him that the table should have. ie best for cooling/air flow etc or even anything else.

Is this for a standard desk to just put a box in, or are you planning to get them to make you a desk that is a pc case?

It's an idea I had toyed around with a while back. But gave up on it as I prefer to be able to move the pc around when needed.

They said that they would build an area to place my case (which they took measurements for) but my only worry was the airflow, I will try to get some pics or drawing of the plans.

    Re: Advice for PC Desk

The area for the case you may want to have larger than your case to allow airflow if you have side fans. Also if in the future you change your case it doesnt limit the choice you have as you carnt fit it in that compartment in the desk. Best way to see what features you want is to vist Ikea etc and look at desks to see if theres anything you like in them. I only suggested Ikea as you can have the meatballs there then

    Re: Advice for PC Desk

Well tbh I told him that I might get a bigger case later so he said that he will take that into account when building the desk, but I suppose your right I should shop around to see whats on the market.
