Keyboard playing up....

When typing away into the post box (as I'm doing now) my keyboards space bar stops responding...

This does not always happen, but can hit you at random..

The stranger thing is that as soon as i open word to check if its something wrong with the internals of the keyboard, everything begins to work again.....

Most of the time when everything comes back to life, my actual repeat rate has been reduced (but in the keyboard options of windows it stays unchanged)

Has anyone heard of this bug.... is there a fix?
Typically its the "N" and "Space" keys that stop, others seem to carry on fine.

So do you mean it only happens on this forum/forums, or just generally on your computer?

I think it's more with IE, although I have only noticed it on these forums.....
Maybe I should visit some other places on the web occasionally

My guess is that its IE because opening word seems to be a temporary fix-ish-thing

Rather interestingly, when angry as the last time it wen on the blink (just the now)

I hit the area of the keyboard that holds the electronics with my fist, its all back to normal!!

lol, I was cleaning it the other day, think I forgot to earth one connection.

Will open it up again and have another look

This £15 cherry will do me another year yet!!
Mind you some keys are getting beyond repair

I found that i had a problem similar on phpbb forums, where you hit enter and it doesn't do much

Not sure if this was a general bug, or just my computer being its usual odd self

Good keyboards do worth their money... I've the original Microsoft Natural Keyboard from 1997 (or there about) and it is still being used.
