Which cable do i need to have sound coming out of my Dell Monitor?
Below is my Dell monitor's audio connections, 2 stereo outs (green and black)
The green one is taken up by the soundbar speakers, only black one is spare.
WHICH TYPE OF CABLE DO I NEED TO CONNECT THE MONITOR TO THE PC
and
WHICH JACK SHOULD I PLUG IT INTO ON MY PC (i think its the green one again)
To connect the monitor to the PC for sound, you need a male 3.5mm - male 3.5mm cable, and both should go to the green slots (at least by default it's true).
No idea what the black slot is for, mics are usually red.
The look of it both the green and black ARE outputs. There is probably also an orange one coming out too.
Your monitor should have HDMI and you just have to set the default sound device to be HDMI output.

From what I understand reading the Dell support pages, the audio cable from the Soundbar connects to the audio-out on the back of the PC. You only connect the Soundbar cable to the monitor's 'green' jack if you are using audio over HDMI.
