    Re: Spec a PC - £700 Maximum - Gaming

Is a monitor required? The overclockers model doesn't include an OS.

    CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 - £129.24 (Scan's Today Only)
    Memory: Crucial Ballistix 4GB 2x2GB 1333mhz CL7-7-7-20 - £87.32
    Motherboard: Asrock 880G Extreme3 - £89.90
    Graphics: 1GB XFX HD 5830 = £160.96
PSU: 620W Seasonic M12II-620 Bronze - £70.24 (Scan's Today Only - Try to grab this ASAP as it's real cheap! You got all weekend though)
    HDD: 1TB Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 £48.12 (Scan's Today Only)

This totals about £590 and that should be enough for a OS and case unless you spend insane amounts on the case. You might also need a DVD drive though and if you're overclocking the CPU you'll need an aftermarket cooler.

Oh, monitor etc not required - and being ~£650 you can buy the os and make it just over £700
