Bios flash gone wrong - EP31-DS3L
Hey
So in my infinite wisdom this morning I woke up and decided to attempt to flash my bios back to a previous version after having blue screen problems with the one I flashed on the night before.
Ever since flashing it back I am getting nothing on my monitor at all, everything powers up, graphics card, cpu, ram, hard drives you name it. But I cannot get it to post.
Have I fried my mobo or is there something I can do to try and fix it?
I have tried removing and replacing ram with the same results but no cheese.
Guess I will be upgrading sooner than I thought if I cannot fix this
Re: Bios flash gone wrong - EP31-DS3L
Reset the CMOS (there should be a jumper to short, look up your mobo manual), maybe? If it doesn't work, then try taking out the mobo battery for some 10 mins.

You know what. It doesn't matter anyway, just ordered myself an AMD chip and board and it should be arriving tomorrow. First time I have gone a day without my own PC since I was 12!
Re: Bios flash gone wrong - EP31-DS3L
Let me guess, you're a 12-and-one-day old?
I know you've ordered a new board now, but if you're lucky, and its a Gigabyte board or similar, may have dual-BIOS chips?
EDIT; Just looked up your board from your sig - nope, single BIOS, out of luck! Sorry!
