    Need help on case dimensions

Long story short, I inherited a second HD4890 from a friend and my PSU doesn't have four connectors so I've bought a second hand Corsair HX1000 PSU on ebay which can easily handle it. It hasn't arrived yet, but I just realised, I hadn't checked if it will fit in my case.

I'm using a coolermaster CM690, the original version, and from the corsair website the PSU is thew same width and height as mine, but its longer at 200mm. From the Coolermaster website there is 310mm at the bottom in total, but it doesn't list how much is taken up by the fan at the bottom. I'm not back home for a few days so I can't just open it up to check.

So I guess my questions are:
Can I fit the new PSU in without removing the fan?
If not, can I fit it by removing the fan and is this a good idea?
And lastly, is this all just futile, and should I just buy a bigger case?

    Thanks.

From memory, you'll have to remove the lower fan to fit that psu,m not a major issue that fan doesn't help that much in the cooling anyway.

ps the corsair HX1000 is major overkill for what you need, an HX520w would of been much better.
EDIT sorry you mean a 2nd 4890 for crossfire, 650-800w would of been best.

Really? I'm kind of new to this, but I assumed I'd need higher than 700W since my 700W OCZ PSU only had 2 PCI-E connectors, and I'd need 4.
