Smile What mobo with Dell P4 3ghz 533FSB chip?

    Hi,
After finding out the cost of a memeory upgrade and psu upgrade for my dell dimension 8250 Ive decided I have to rip out the dell components and build my own machine to atx standards. I would like to use the processor though so does anybody know a motherboard that would support the p4 chip?

Its a 3Ghz pentium 4 chip with 533mhz FSB for a dell dimension 8250. Im not sure what socket this is and dell wont tell me so any info ona mobo for this chip would be a great help!!

    thanks
    Romanov

Any 865/875 chipset based mobo. (you could use almost any 845 mobo, but would be a waste when the 865 mobos' are priced the same)

I would recommend an Abit IS-7they are cheap and would allow you to overclock that processor if you want for a little extra power.

you already have DDR memory, the drives, etc.
EDIT: just noticed 8250's have RDRAM so you need to buy DDR ram (get PC3200)

So all you need is a new case (with PSU), DDR, and motherboard.
