New motherboard opinions wanted please
I'm looking to upgrade the motherboard in an existing PC, currently there is a cut down MB installed which came with the pre built computer and there are no OC facilities and virtually everything else is disabled/missing from the bios, there is no bios update available to enable the facilities Im looking for (Its a Packard bell imedia x2416 computer)
I want a MB suitable for:
Processor:Intel quad core Q8200 @ 2.33 ghz (O/C potential required)
Memory slots minimum 2 DDR2 more would be better (Already have 2 x 2gb PC2-6400)
On board network
On board sound
Sata: 4 ports minimum
On board memory card readers
Graphics: already have 1Gb Nvidia 9500 GT PCIExpress
I believe the Processor is socket 775 but I'm not 100% certain, I am well out of touch to be honest, previously I was an Abit fan but they are no longer available so I need to find an alternative, as I'm not a gamer I dont need anything fancy just an inexpensive board with some overclocking facilities and any additional features that may be useful. Any help or opinions gratefully received.
TIA

You can be, because it is.
Asus? MSI? Gigabyte?

Should do all you need for a little over £60, and allow you to get 2.8GHz or so.
If you could push to £77 this is a superior overall board, and should allow 3.2GHz+

Why? I can’t think of a single mainstream motherboard off the top of my head that offers this feature. You can get this simply enough via a 3.5 or 5.25 bay add on that plugs into a USB header.

They're well made, well laid out and a decent spec too!

Thanks for the comments guys (and Saracen), I nearly bought the ASUS Motherboard P5Q SE PLUS New In Box earlier today but was too late :( it was only £45 as well, oh well it obviously wasnt meant to be.
Does anyone know anything about the ASUS P5P41D, is it worth considering?
TIA
