    Best watercooling kit?

    Hi guys,
Im thinking seriously about making the leap towards water cooling. Im disappointed with my temps, and my pc sounds like a wind tunnel. Money's not really an abject, im willing to pay around £350 for a decent kit. Could i get one that cools my cpu, NB and gfx card for that amount? If so, which would be the best quality? How often would the waterblocks need changed etc?

Whoa! You can get some SERIOUS kit for that money.

    Have a play here: http://www.coolercases.co.uk/wc_kit_builder.htm
    Or pre-configured kits: http://www.coolercases.co.uk/water_cooling_kits.htm

I don't think I'd spend that much for my first wc build tho... Do some serious Googling first!

Thanx mate, nice site. It's good they let you customise the kit. I think ill go with a peltier too, may have to raise my budget to 500 or so, oh well, what the hell, it's only money. Right

Well, you have a number of Choices when it comes to high performance watercooling. A personal favorite of mine is Danger Den, they've always served me well. If I had cash to burn, I'd buy:

    (All prices in USD)
    Danger Den RBX- 50
Hydor L30 or equivilent Ehiem pump- 30
    Black Ice Xtreme II- 100
Any 2 low decibel 120mm fans that move a nice amount of air will do- 20
NB waterblock and GFX waterblock can both be purchased at dangerden.com for about 40 bucks each

Or you could just buy an Asetek antartica kit, they're probably the easiest to set up.

By the way, swiftech just came out with a new double peltier cooling thingy. Looks quite cool (pun intended) if you ask me. It sells for about 300.

Or just be a cheap bastard like yours truly and retrofit a mini-fridge to chill your resevoir.
