    GTX460 Sound output question

    Hi guys,

I notice that you can output sounds thru the GTX460s HMDI and, this may be a dumb question, but would that affect whether I can still connect a 5.1 headset thru the motherboards sound outputs?

    Should be fine.

Not though that you wouldn't be able to have them both output at the same time. Eg iTunes through both at the same time

    Re: GTX460 Sound output question

Thanks guys - I just wasn't sure if the HMDI sound output would effectively 'superseed' the motherboards sound output meaning I wouldn't be able to use my headset while gaming but you have answered this for me. Thanks for the help!
