Psi recommendations

Long story short: I bought a new mb thinking that was at fault, but after stripping the pc down I noticed a slightly burnt smell from the psu, so in the interests of playing it safe I am going to replace the psu. Not that I mind too much it is about 2-3 years old, my pc is constantly at 100% load when it is on (12-16hrs a day) and was only about £35 at the time for those that are interested it is the 700w fsp one that pops up on scans today only quite regularly.
Now I haven't bought a psu in a while and was hoping for some info on what is considered good these days was looking to spend £50-70 and it needs to supply reliable power for my rig that is:
Q6600 (previously at 3.6, mostly run at 3.4 for heat reasons but I got a new wb so will see how high this baby goes)
Gigabyte x48-ds5
Radeon 4850 512mb lightly oc'ed
6gb ddr2
Audigy
12v pump
DVD writer
Br reader
3 hdds
5 120mm fans

Don't mean to double post, but can't find a way to scroll the text box on the iPhones browser, I was looking at this: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/191826 but the fact it is single rail worries me, isn't it in the tax spec not to have any rails over 20A or so? Hence the reason for multiple rails in the first place?
Also sorry that these posts are most likely full of spelling errors and strange formatting. the iPhone is great for checking mail/net but is awful for typing

The PSU you linked is very good, I don't think the amount of rails should be deciding factor, it should be the current on the rails.

Yeah those XFX PSUs got great reviews, and they're made by Seasonic if that interests you. I wouldn't pay any attention to single vs multiple rail really - single rails let you wire up components without paying as much attention to what rail you put them on (you still need to be careful not to put too much on the same wires though) and single rails are intended to add some safety to high current PSUs, to trip if there's a short or something. In theory a single-rail PSU should also trip but because of the higher current of the OCP it may take longer or not trip at all if there's some resistance in the short. However, OCP on multi-rail PSUs is often not set anywhere near the values on the box and sometimes PSUs claim to be multi-rail but all the wires go back to the same physical rail inside the PSU. Companies on both sides of the fence use it as a marketing point but it's meaningless really, just get a good PSU and don't think about it.

I have one of those xfx psu`s powering my system (see my system) and all is good: very quiet, good modular spec, plenty of connectors for all those peripherals you may put in.

Got mine on today only at scan, paid the same as that e-buyer price.

Bought a Corsair VX 550W recently when I upgraded to a GTX 460, quite impressed with that, it's quiet and obviously decent as my Q6600 overclocking is now a lot more stable that with my old Antec Earthwatts.

Corsair TX 650W running for 2 1/2 years here, nice and quiet and no problems. Only the leads are long and not modular, plus the price seems to have gone up?! But still can't find any complaints about corsair PSUs.

I didn't find the leads that long on the VX, even in my little Antec Solo... long enough to hide away and still reach things, but short enough to roll up and hide as well. I always find that PSUs have WAY more connectors than I need! I have to tuck away half of them at least usually.
