    Graphics Choices

OK hopefully eBuyer will be delivering my SN85Gwhatever (stuipid shuttle numbers! - the Athlon64 one!) tomorrow. Gonna shop for a new graphics card. A toss up between the

    NVIDIA 5900XT
    ATI 9800PRO

I take it the 9800PRO is faster and better (?)... are they both shuttle friendly? Seeing as one can get a 9800PRO for £150ish its a toss up between them. Don't want an ATI/NVIDIA battle here though.

I think they're roughly the same performance-wise (although willing to be corrected), but the nvidia one probably runs hotter and louder than the radeon, going by all past nvidia cards. Also I think anti-aliasing is probably better on the radeon. I'd probably go for the Radeon, especially in a shuttle, and its proven to work ok.

The radeon 9800 pro is the faster card and is what I would go for. The geforce fx 5900xt is a cut down version for the 5900 chipset.
