    New Build

Hi I have finally saved enough money to build a new PC. What I've come up with so far is as follows:
Coolermaster HAF X or NZXT Phantom
    ASUS P6X58D-E Mobo
    Intel Core i7 930 Retail
    Corsair H70
    OCZ reaper ddr3 1886mhz 6gb, or Corsair dominator 1600mhz 6gb.
    Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
    2 x EVGA GTX460 SC 1GB EE
    OCZ GameXstream 850W PSU
    Some cheap sata dvd writer

Any advice on the RAM and which case? Also will I be able to reach a stable 4.0ghz overclock, although it's not a priority.

    Re: New Build

Should be able to reach 4GHz without too many issues.

I would be inclined to go for a CAS7 1600MHz Corsair kit over the OCZ if it is CAS9. You should be able to get the Corsair up to about 1800MHz with CAS8 timings on stock voltage:

Case is a matter of preference. choose whatever takes your fancy, but make sure it's got good airflow.

    Re: New Build

    Generally looks good.

Go for a different PSU, modular for preference

    Enermax 620 W LibertyECO II http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/620W-...-Free-Gift-Fan!
    Corsair HX650w http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/650W-...-Certification

If you really want to push the boat out Corsair AX750w http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/750W-...us12V-Rail-ATX

    Re: New Build

No need for an H70 really. Megahalems are only about 1C hotter but is cheaper.
