    Rookie Question

    Hi guys,

I assembled my new rig and it all working fine, but i have encountered one problem which im fairly sure is easily solved. I just dont know how to solve it!

the brackets which i fit to the hard drives which came with the case, dont push the drive back far enough into the case for the side panel to go on when the SATA and Power Leads are connected. I cant see any other way of attaching them as they clip on.

The case is the Coolermaster Gladiator 600.

    Hope you can help!

    Luke.

    Re: Rookie Question

Check they're not on upsidedown, check that there aren't different length brackets in another slot.

Otherwise.. time to buy those 90 degree cables..

    Re: Rookie Question

Check here and see if your assembly matches this review assembly

    http://www.overclockersclub.com/revi...ator_600/3.htm

If it does, then it looks like right angled sata cables just like kalniel said.
Of course I'm perfect you just need to lower your expectations.

    Re: Rookie Question

Try the drives in the other way around, so the cables face the other side.

Must admit I had a real struggle getting my side panel on my casecom, mainly due to the non-right angled sata power cables used on the enermax psu's

I would of thought there was more space in the cm 600 as the case is 15mm wider.

    Re: Rookie Question

Yeh ive got the panel on now, i was putting the drives in the wrong way round with the SATA ports facing out rather than in. Felt a bit silly when i saw the solution.

Once again, many thanks for your help guys!

I think i can consider my first build complete!
