Yup built a couple with XP3200's in, no probs at all.
But they are AMD and mine is Intel.... P4....
Then you don't have the right model number. SN45G is a Socket A / AMD 32-bit CPU based shuttle using nVidia's nForce2 chipset (and with no on board video). I think you need to read the model number again.Quote:

Thats why JAMAL was the first to reply that it was a socket A form factor

Tell me what shuttle you actually have and i'll change the thread title if you want so that the thread makes sense :)

I want to see how you fitted the P4 in it. That's some skilled ghetto modding. ;)
Take a look here > http://www.shuttle.com/hq/product/product_b_intel.asp
Should help you pick out your model number.
It looks the exact same of this one: http://www.shuttle.com/hq/product/ba...ult.asp?B_id=8
However, mines black... with a custom real carbon fibre front...
If you could change the title and clean the thread up - cheers :)
Lead_Head...
You probably still need to look at the model number on the motherboard. There are a lot of shuttles that look similar and if it's been customised you really need to double check what you've got to find out what it officially supports. Also - what PSU is in there? Will also make a difference to how fast a CPU you can / will want to put in there (i.e. if it's not the 250W Silent X then it *MIGHT* struggle to power a high end CPU or just make a *LOT* of noise and create a lot of heat in the process). Also - what do you want the shuttle for? Do you really need something high speed?
Not much point in me sorting out the thread until i know the correct model number. no use saying it looks like an SB51G but its a different colour with a different front, it could be another model, or just a Painted SB51G? :(
