HELP CPU fan error! temps high

hi ppl just finished my new build and im getting cpu fan error when i start up and the temps are like over 50 degrees celcius im using the corsair h50 and asus p6x58d-e plx help

So, firstly have you attached the cooler properly ? Have a look, reseat if needed (do this anyway).

And secondly the cooler has a fan connector coming off it that powers the pump - make sure this is connected, i suspect it isn't if your hitting 50c straight away, also make sure you have the fan speed set to 100% in the BIOS for the connector which the pump fan header is connected too.
