    XP2500m recommended temp

right, had this for a while and its now sitting at 2445mhz, about 47/48 normal use

my mates running a XP2500 normal and its at 55, and goes up to 60 sometimes on a hot day but has no stability issues

now say i wanna overclock this like a mofo, whats the highest temp i can take it to without risking damage?

I'd personally stick below 55c full load as a matter of principle.

It really is also very dependant on how hot the room is. I'd say your right there though Layzeh, 55 on load is a good maximum to set yourself - especially with the way some boards report the temp.

I would say that you could go to 60/65...but causing that much heat you must be putting quite a bit extra voltage through it...so that maybe more of a factor that the actually heat.

If you are gonna overclock it more prolly a good idea to think of some other cooling, as i take it you are using air?
