Fitting wirless card new build

Hi,

I'm sure this is a dumb question but does it matter if I install the wirless PCI card on a new build before installing and updating windows? Its my 1st build so don't be too harsh!

Are you going to be connecting the PC over ethernet for the updates? if so, then no, it doesn't matter.

If you are going to use the wirless to get internet access then yes, you will need to install it before you can update

Cool, thanks. I will be updating by wireless but I wasn't sure if it would cause a problem when installing windows. I know - it was a dumb question :0
