Recommend a laptop charger

I just wanted to hear your advise for a laptop charger for this:

The tragus ones are quite good and with multi-interchangeable heads to cover a range of disfferent laptops.

The main thing you need is the correct head and the power rating of the charger

Did a bit of searching and it appears that they used an off the shelf charger with that laptop, I think its the same as these Asus ones on ebay

obviously you need to check the specification and the plug size.

the label on the power supply says li-shin, never really heard of them tho

If it uses a standard size barrel connector:-

Mascot PSUs are made in Norway but are generally about 30%+ more expensive than others. I have a few of theirs and they seem to be good quality; never taken one apart though. It's also more difficult to find stores which have them.

[edit: it actually looks like Mascot doesn't do any 19v PSUs at all... never mind]

there seems to be a lot of people selling cheap power supplies on ebay between £8 - £15. I know you shouldnt skimp out on the power supply in desktops but is it the same for laptops aswell? I ask because the laptop is about 4yrs old and well tbh I don't want to spend a lot on it you see.

I mean it still runs but its slowly falling apart, little cracks here and there.
