    Re: Memory Failure

using the stick of ram that works have you gone into the BIOS and adjusted the Memory voltage and clock timings to suit your memory?

    Re: Memory Failure

Yes it was set on auto on 1.5v i then set it to 1.7v as it should be and set the timings to 8-8-8, but i still got the red led on the mem ok so i pressed memok again and only set it to 1.7 and left the timings and still it didnt work

    Re: Memory Failure

    Use something like Memtest

    http://www.memtest86.com/

You should send the whole kit back not just one stick. In fact, if you've had them for under 7 days I'd really consider sending them back under DSR for a refund rather than being messed around by the RMA process. Loads of bad reports about the recent OCZ Gold batches, get your money back and get something like Corsair/Kingston for reliability.

    Re: Memory Failure

hmm i used mem test for 1 and half hours it had no errors, on 1067mhz when i put it on 1333mhz on prime blend the computer just froze, I wish i never purchased these a few months ago as a 15 year old on a budget when I saw ram prices were increasing i saw the pair for 80 pounds and purchased it, now i feel like a retard on scan there are corsair 1600mhz for 70 pounds, OCZ rma anygood, lol i think if i build a pc for my friends ill just stick the ocz in and get the corsair with the money
