Both very well made, I personally prefer the look of the lian li pc p50 but that's just me. That's not as new though.
I was in the same boat and have to get going to Uni, I made the call a week ago and went for the FT01 instead. I love it and I'm glad I made the change to be honest, the way I see it now is the 600t is better for the build itself but the FT01 surpasses it elsewhere.
Some of the things I was worried about, cable managing on FT01. Yes it is a bit harder but it took me maybe 2 hours (and it's the first time I've done this) to achieve this result. Yes it isn't perfect and but I didn't plan it, I just grabbed the mobo ATX cables and went from there. I prefer the look and size of the FT01 (because I'm off to uni in a way so a smaller case is perfect). It is aluminium so it's 4 kilos lighter and I love the black anodised finish.
I have to say the thing I was most worried about was the top fan but Silverstone seemed to have sorted that one out, it comes out the side.
Sorry for the quality of the image, it was on a phone camera.
Pictures on the left top to bottom: Bottom of Mobo, 24 pin power and end of graphics card, cable management holes for Sata, top filter.

The whole picture is on it's side and I don't know why =/ Hopefully it is good enough for you to get an idea of it.
Double post sorry
