What would you guys say to us running an A-List on the site, the current Best of the best
case/psu/monitor/motherboard/memory
and a B-List
For the best budget config?

Ours will be definative
would a 'avoid at all costs' or 'not my cup of tea' lists have to many legal issues?
I think its a good idea as well, and if you could do best AMD + best P4 mobo etc
I like the idea; it'd have to be fairly extensive, though, to cover multiple platforms. The "This sucks more than a Dyson" list'd also be fairly useful.
sounds good to me ,so long as it explains why a thing is good or pants then it should be ok
Sounds like a nice idea .
Regarding the PC Pro Alist it would benifit from a few more price ranges. Ie not just showing what is the best of the best but also the best of the mid range and best of the budget etc.
That is something you could bear in mind.
It would be pretty good to have, much easier to work what to spend money on next! Like others have already said, a short summary would be handy so that you can see what its pros and cons are quickly.
I would also say that it needs to have several different price ranges from the very high to budget.
"Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."
Very good idea, I also like Big Al's suggestion the H List.
