    Brothers broken PC needs a little update

    My brother has my old media centre and the USB controller on the mobo seems to have gone awry. It is an old 4200+ AMD using DDR memory. Obviously I can't get a replacement mobo new so can someone spec me as cheaply as possible a replacement CPU, mobo and memory? AMD or intel is fine. All other bits are working fine and up to scratch!

    If it is working, why not just add a USB card if you have a spare slot?

    Its a bit flakey in other respects too. I think the mobo is probably on its way out. Mind you those socket 939 setups are getting on a bit now!
