ASUS UL20ft or Eee PC 1215N

Looking for a ultra-portable notebook/netbook for my mum to use at home for emails and word processing then just pop in her bag and get on a train with it.

Was looking at some 10inch ones but seems they are very small and mum may struggle with prolonged use. Have been looking at some 12inch ones and theses 2 seem to have come up as some of the best.

Seems as if Eee PC 1215n is better/cheaper but slightly older?

    What does everyone think?

I would go with the UL 20 as it will have more CPU power. The battery life wont be as good as the Eee PC but I think the extra CPU horsepower is worth that trade off.

Seems like the only place I can get it from is the US and it would cost £550. £150 more for a better proccesor but worse graphics and battery life? Is it worth the extra money when the Eee 1215N has great reviews?

for sending email and surfing the net on a train you don't need the extra cpu power, you need the longer life battery. A no brainer.
