Raven RV02 Evolution

First news since May of the RV02E with Air Penetrator fans and 5 HD bays, like the Fortress FT02:

They've also strengthened the "rear" (ie. top) panel to prevent distortion caused by careless lifting.

Hope it becomes available before VAT goes up.

I do love the overall alyout of the Raven 02/fortress 02 However it just too long for my desk.

Personally I'm waiting on the Raven 03, where they've moved the psu down below the hard drive bays and thus reduced the length.

May sound like a strange question, but as I haven't read any reviews on this, could you run this case upside down with the connectors facing the floor? I only ask because I watercool, and sticking a radiator at the bottom and reintroducing it's heat into the case doesn't seem to be the best idea.

ooo that's a whole different kettle of fish and an arguement that's been running for a very long time.

Arguement breaks down too.
intake rad = cold air from outside so greater deltaV in temps so greater cooling for the water and components cooled by it.
outtake rad = does not out warm air into case, so lower temps for other components.

The only way to water cool the raven 02 is to stick a rand ontop of the 180mm fans, ideally with additional 120mm as the 180mm don't fit a rad correctly.
This really is a case designed around silent air cooling not water cooling.

Reminds me of one of those "I wouldn't start from here" jokes. I think you'd lose some of the best virtues of this case and the work involved would be considerable. Having said that, I think that Silverstone are on to something with this design, so who knows?
