Self Build Finished...Now what?

Hi i have just finished building a pc with Asus M4A89GTD-Pro-USB3 mobo / AMD x6 1055T / Corsair TX 650w PSU / CM Hyper 212 plus / 2x 2GB of Corsair XMS3 CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 and need some advice please.
First time i booted it up everything is working fine with bios default settings, which is great but do i need to adjust anyting to make it run more efficiently? I did download a prog called everest and run the system stability for 2.30 hours and my temps on the CPU was 28c idle and 38c after test, so nothing seems to be hotting up. But should i run other tests on memory etc? Also in windows 7 / task manager / resource monitor it is showing 6 cores but if i go into cpu-z it only shows 1 core. Which should i trust ps? Also any other advise would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks for your help.

Right click when in CPU-Z and it lets you see which core you want to look at.

Everything looks fine IMO. Maybe someone else will be more in the know.

I normally run memtest86 on any new machine and well as prime burn in test... However as to what new play with in a week and then start thinking of upgrades.
