my local pc shop (my main rig's been in to find out what was dead)couldn't get me one till monday(NF7-S),but he had this board in,my wife was moaning on about money and the time and other crap on one side and my 6 yr old son on the other getting excited can we get this can we get that.!!! after 10 mins of this i just gave in for peace, now ive got home, son is back at school and the wife has gone off to her meeting,i'm left here all chewed up at how i managed to
get myself in to this one.i was really looking forward to playing with the abit board.funny how things change.
anyone else on the forums have one of these boards?

Its not a bad board, but had some power regulation issues (like a lot of gigabytes ). Its stable, but it wont overclock as good as the Abit.

If its going to be run at stock though, it shouldnt make too much of a difference

it's the dipswitch multiplier change that's got me a little worried.just got myself a xp-m as well as 1 gig of OCZ ram looks like it could be a little over the top for this board then

If you can mate take it back and swap it for the NF7 on monday. It would be a real shame to waste a gig of OCZ and a 2500 mobile barton on anything less. I dont think you'l be happy with it and you will end up wishing you had done the job right in the first place- i know the feeling.

The busses are locked on any NForce2 board. It's the way the chipset is designed.
