what kind of PSU do you think would handle this card and the AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.2GHz Socket AM3 95w 1.5MB L2 Cache?

    thanks guys

Anything above 400W is easily enough, but I would recommend going for a proper brand such as corsar, seasonic, enermax etc. The GTX460 is a faster card than the 5770, so I would go for that.

PCPro magazine tested graphics cards last month, and recommended both of those as great cards so you'll get good value with either. Its tests showed the GTX 460 as a bit faster at games, but then it's a little bit more expensive too.

The GTX 460 is a fantastic card.

And yes, it will fit the motherboard in the blue PCI-e slot

If you get the HD6850 1GB any PSU which can power an HD5770 1GB easily would be fine as the HD6850 1GB only requires a single PCI-E power connector unlike most GTX460 cards.

nah cat, i can't justify spending more cash at the minute hi, but im cosidering getting the cosair cx 500w and it has 2x 6pin connectors so it shud connect ok but am just wondering if an extra 50 watts or so would be needed?

Both the GTX460 1GB and HD6850 1GB are similar in price and the HD6850 1GB can run on a decent 400W PSU easily.

and cat one more thing, the hd650 will not fit the msi motherboard you suggested earlier so could you find me a motherboard that would work with pci-e 2.1 and this processor http://www.ebuyer.com/product/238326
