    Will this memory work with this motherboard

    I dont know what works and what doesnt so bare with me my motherboard is:

    MSI 870-C45, AMD 770, S AM3, PCI-E 2.0 (x16), DDR3 1600(OC), SATA 3Gb/s, SATA RAID, ATX

    My CPU is an AMD Phenum II x4 955

    Will this memory work in it?

    CMX4GX3M2A1333C8 - 4GB Corsair XMS3, DDR3 PC3-10666 (1333) Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 8-8-8-24, 1.65V

    I seem to remember that one being a bit out of date, think there is a more recent corsair one somewhere.

    The memory you listed should work fine with no problems, you'll need to tinker a bit in BIOS to let them run at the best settings (1333mhz CL8) but it should run at a good speed at stock (1333mhz CL9)

    You ideally want 2x2GB (as you listed) as AMD systems currently use dual channel memory (well the Phenom 955 does at least) as if you use triple channel memory, it will only run in single channel, reducing the bandwidth.

    Anyway, in reply to your question, the answer is yes it will work fine.
