Depends which 500W exactly and the rest of your system, but yes, i would say even a decent 450W would suffice.

am just using a amd x3 445 3.1ghz proccessor, 1 fan, and a cooler on my cpu,

Get the 460, i'm able to play crysis at max settings (no AA) in 1080 and it's pumping out frames between 25-40 very happy to the point i even recorded videos to watch back lol

Your psu is fine by the sounds of it, the box states at least a 450 min psu

Core i5 mate OC'd it to 3.2ghz XD the GTX 460 is at the SC stock speeds, i've yet to get round to OC'in it

better, than mine anyway, but i heard games rely more on the gpu these days anyway. its really hard to decide between a 6850 and a gtx 460!

You could keep the gtx260 for physx, it's very easy to do however it's total overkill for the few games that use physx.

The rocket sled demo is about the only thing that would come close to giveing it any stress.
If you really want a physx card then I'd sell the gtx260 and get a 9800gt instead.

I wouldn't use it for PhysX - it would just be for Folding, 150W max for PhysX alone is too much.

ouch...thats pretty bad considering the price i paid well i can always boast it's SC edition and has its warranty XD na screw it, i needed a new gpu for the gfs pc anyway!
