Is Windows working fine for you with the 260 in there as well?

I was going to use my 260 too fold but when i put it in the fan speed was @ 100% constantly and messed all my drivers up

Re: EVGA gtx 460 unboxed and rigged up :)

That GTX260 is just costing you money for absolutely no reason if you have it in there.. Have you seen the massive selection of games you can play that utilise PhysX? Metro 2033 and Mafia II are the only ones worth playing that I can think of tbh.

Maybe for folding it'll work but I think you need to have a paper clip bridging something. (Read up on that first!! )

Blimey, didn't realise the GTX460 was so small, think I know what I shall be ordering once I know I've passed a big exam in two weeks time.

Exactly! There's usually a premium on "smaller" .

Re: EVGA gtx 460 unboxed and rigged up :)

After seeing that I know it will fit in my Antec 300, a smaller card in there will make things much better to manage all those loose cables.

I don't see a 550 watt psu being all that lacking for one of these so long as its a decent branded PSU. If it's a cheap and cheerful one you might find its not upto the job.

    Check my specs

You can bump the voltage up all the way to give you around 925MHz on the GPU and my computer is solid as a rock stability wise.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Depends which 500W exactly and the rest of your system, but yes, i would say even a decent 450W would suffice.
