Well, After reading the other thread about SSD's and realising there was a new firmware released for the Vertex I upgraded it.
Now the question is, Which is the best AHCI driver to use? MSAHCI or AMD's own AHCI.
After doing a bit of digging it appears that the AMD offering now includes TRIM support (since V 10-9) and my way of thinking tells me that the AMD driver should support the AMD sata controller better than a generic MS driver.
Your thoughts please....
Umm you should use the driver for the controller used on the motherboard.

not AMD obviously but I saw an improvement moving from the MS driver to the latest intel one on my Vertex LE SSD. I would check the OCZ forums, they offer great advice on such things specific to ur SSD
