Exclamation My new custom pc will not enter bios on startup

im trying to install linux from a usb flash drive to my pc
    im using this motherboard http://www.ebuyer.com/product/205849
im so stupid with this stuff.
When i turn my pc on it show the image on the front of the motherboards box
then it says 'could not find kernal image:gfxboot'
i do press F11 on the keyboard and it brings me up my list of drives i.e. My hdd, cd cdrive and usb flash drive

what should happen when you turn your custom built pc on for the first time with no usb or cd in it?
should it enter the bios because mine doesn't
    thanks in advance

Re: My new custom pc will not enter bios on startup

Isn't it 'Del' to enter the BIOS but then again I keep forgetting these things, only when I do the rebuild/build does it all come back to me.

If I recollect my builds, they've sat at the screen waiting for a command, or a restart when there's no HDD etc. Again, it's been a while though so I'm not sure, that and my builds in the last few years have been Intel!

You should just press delete as soon as the computer starts up, the kernal image error is probably a feature of the motherboard that allows you to display your own image at startup instead of MSI.

Pressing delete should get you into the BIOS, you should configure it properly as it shouldn't show the kernel image message but the MSI logo.

Pressing F11 then choosing your USB stick should start the Linux installer.
