OCZ 120Gb Revo Drive = £247.90
OCZ Vertex 2E = £176.65
Is the RevoDrive worth the extra. I'd be prepared to spend the extra if I would notice a big improvement in performance. Anyone got a RevoDrive or Vertex 2E? Comments?

The revo is faster (its basically 2x sandforce SSDs in raid0 on a PCIe card) but doesn't have TRIM support.

Yes. I can't imagine trying to fit a Revo Drive in a laptor or ITX/MATX !
Will be running on a Q6600, 4Gb, Win7 64bit.
I was wondering whether you meant for a server or something, couldn't figure out why you'd want a Revo otherwise.
Go for a decent drive (Sandforce/Indilinx/Intel) and get the most GB for your money, that would be my advice. At the end of the day, you want an SSD for your desktop to get rapid access times. Boosting the read/write speeds really isn't going to dramatically change your day-to-day experience of using the drive - any improvement will be nowhere near the cost increase.
The reason I say that is because the difference between a hard drive and a good SSD is crazy - a huge gulf in performance difference. Between individual good SSDs, the overall performance difference is far smaller in a home environment, so it's just not worth worrying about.

Thanks for your comments.
I've just purchased the Vertex 2E. Looking forward to when it comes now!
Scan have been best on price for the 120Gb version but have only just had stock come in. I may have got it cheaper on Today Only but thought I couldn't wait!
