    I have the Benq.

It replaced my CRT so the colour is worse and it ghosts. I think I have very sensitive eyes or maybe its just my personality. Get the Viewsonic if the reviews are okay. Do not trust anything where they do not print numbers from tests; there are an awful lot of review sites which just chatter on base don opinions. There are also some 24" monitors kicking around for about 140.

Your the first person to say that.

Are you running it via the DVI digital input plug or via the old VGA socket. ?

DVI. Tried the VGA too. My experience is based on using a CRT though.

I suppose the monitor is okay. The extra real estate fom a 17"er makes a huge difference.

Most people argue if you can notice ghosting once you start getting below the 12ms / 8ms so that pretty shocking.

Sometime you hear of it on the old VGA or VGA to DVI adapters due to lack of bandwidth hence why i asked.Maybe the 1080 X 1200 resolution is pushing your Video Card. have you tried lower resolutions to see if you can still see ghosting. ?

    Re: G2222HDL Vs VX2250WM-LED

DVI adapter is single link so is limited at 60hz; it should be fine. The VGA adapter should be better but has a slightly fuzzy picture.

Will try lower resolutions but I don't think it will help. I can't read scrolling text very well and when I rotate my view round and round; the picture is still smooth but the dark edges begin to blur. This is noticable in E:TW which is quite demanding tbh but i don't think its hardware limited, I don't have teh settings turned up very high.

I should try the software that you use a camera to take a picture of a counter. I am a bit camera limited! Not sure I can control shutter speed.
