PSU reviews?

Hi guys, just won a Coolermaster GX 550W ATX Power Supply but am trying to decide what to do with it... cant find many reviews for it, only one and they used a multimeter to test it (showing a 1v drop on the 12v rail, not that promising with medium load). My current Xclio 700w fan died awhile ago so i replaced that with my own 120mm fan (seems to be keeping cool enough and stuff so hopefully will last many more years).


The hardest part is to decide if i sell this new psu for near the value of brand new (£55) or do i keep it and replace my current one? Its not modular which is also puts me off a bit .... so hard to decide so does anyone know good review sites that might have this one tested?

I would be wary of looking at sites for PSU's as many don't test them as hard as JonnyGuru, Hardocp or Anandtech does (amongst others). Bear in mind however that it is probably better then the one you currently have, though might not survive being pushed a lot or do well at high temperatures.

ill stick with mine then, the xclio's are damn solid even though this ones fan died .

Wonder if i could sell it somewhere, could do with the money for an SSD hehe.
