If they where only looking at the case with the single fan that they come with.
The question is what it's like when fully fitted with fans?
Well personally I don't like the old style hard drive mounting in the 430, I've never really been that keen on it it only secures the drive in the middle and one end and means you have to take both panels off to get the screws out
The Antec 600 is the same, however the bays are longer so the screw (thumb screws I believe) go into the front and back of the drive not the middle.
the 600 also includes a single hot swapable bay in it, what looks like a 3.5" external bay is actually a flip up cover, you just slot a 3.5" sata hrad drive into it.

Cabling is a bit more of an issue with the 600 and personally I think it's ugly, Ok I'm not a great fan of the HAF 912+ look ether, however the HAF is a little more consistant in it's design where as the 600 just seems to be different bit's of different designs jammed together (still better looking than the new dark fleet cases though)
One of the big attractions for me on the HAF 912+ is the width and 90degree hard drives which I MUCH prefer over the normal layout.
What we want is a case based off the HAF 912 frame but with the styling of the 690 or elite 335
I'd also like it if Coolermaster released the slightly cheaper basic HAF912, no black interia and just 120mm fans pre-fitted and cheaper, but's that's because it would be a better blank canvas for modding
You could look around for a 2nd hand case like the original 690 or 590 or even the Antec 300
Although I would of complained to ebuyer got some more drive rails from them and then some short sata cables and stuck with the 6788
