PSU advice for a slightly different purpose

Its been a long time since I dabbled in the desktop area, so I dont know the market and whats available at all now. Im looking for a suitable as cheap as possible PSU that I can modify that will be capable of powering a 300W LiPo battery charger. Now I do realise the downfalls of cheap PSUs (EZcool springs to mind) and that they can go bang and send a surge current, but at the same time Im trying to avoid spending mega bucks as Im on a student budget (around £30, but if I can do it for less, then happy days!). What would you guys recommend as a suitable PSU?

These are the first 3 cheapest/branded PSUs from scan within your budget, personally I would go with the corsair. mind you, I'm not sure how good is the antec basiq line, someone might be able to comment on that.

The corsair does look ideal as it offers 28A on the 12V rail, which is more than I will actually use. What has been the feedback so far on the cheap corsair PSU's? Only thing Ive seen on hexus (although I havent looked for too long yet) is something about them not being fit for purpose?

Many thanks for the help chaps! Think I'll be ordering the 400W PSU that cat-the-fifth recommended, marginally better rating of 28A on the 12V rail which is exactly what is recommended on my cellpro 10s charger, and if its made by seasonic, happy days! Dont need to worry about it going pop

Does anyone know which of the pins on the mobo connector needs to be shorted out to start the PSU? (I will be attaching a fan to provide some form of load when I test it)

If your going to be modding it for purpose then cutting the wires and soldering in a switch would be a good idea
You can actually buy a device that does it, basically a 24pin socket with only 2 pins on it a a switch on the back, not sure where I saw them.
