    Computer plug

    Hello,
Ive just rediscovered a product called plugcomputer. http://plugcomputer.org/
there are multiple versions the main one you can order in the uk is tonido

its a plug which includes ethernet port, usb port, arm processer and runs ubuntu.
there are lots of different versions some include esata multiple ethernet ports etc.
I want to do some research before i get one.
has anyone else looked in to this?
the tonido plug seems to be the older version of the marvell plug so im trying to find the 3.0 model with all the software installed and ready to use.

I looked into these a while ago, seem quite cool. Although I dismissed them at the time due to price. This seems jot too bad, wonder if they have a UK version.

    Re: Computer plug

I looked into one for running a firewall, however they don't have a BIOS which makes putting OpenBSD hard to put on it. If you would like Uubutu they are great, you can even get a server version with 2 NICs. However I was waiting for the plug computer 3.0, which is meant to have a BIOS on it for assisted booting. However I have end up getting a jetway board with 2 x Gbit nics and a N270 atom processor. (Just have to wait for Dabs (Royal mail) to deliver the memory).

NewIt seem to be the main UK stockist for the Sheeva plug.

    Re: Computer plug

Probably double that, atleast x1.5 times. I don't think the ones I looked at had linux on them either, just a pretty basic OS
