need more disk drives cheap

been looking at raid controllers and they just cost stupid money which i don't have at the moment.

someone said i need something like this but again it costs a fortune and i take it dont come with any hdds

so is there any way to diy one of these things to get the costs down and still keep performance?

i need a system that can play 200 audio tracks @192khz at the same time say 10-15 tracks per drive.
