PCI-E DVB S2 card for media centre
Im building a HTPC for my parents and my Dad being his usual self has got excited and spent ages browsing around for stuff related to it, he has found what seems to be a bit of a gem though!

The media centre is going to have my old Celeron E1200 slipped into the zotac 775 gefore 9300 board. If my dad gets this, the plan will be to hook it up to existing sky sat (they dont actually use sky anymore but the hardware is still there) and get freesat, is my understanding of the possibility totally wrong?

final bump - someone must be able to confirm this!?

It should be fine, I use a Pinnacle 7010ix with an existing pre-installed Sky dish (pointed at the Astra cluster at 28deg E), works very well with Freesat. :)
There's no absolute guarantees with these things though, PC TV tuners (whether satellite or terrestrial) can be a bit unpredictable, and I don't know anything about that specific card (although it looks impressive on paper).
